Coach Syd in New Hartford ‘06This camp offers 3 days of on-ice instruction combined with off-ice sessions to give upstate NY the perfect balance of fun and competition. Campers will learn useful skills to develop their whole game. Registration is open for boys & girls ages 9-12.

30-minute Zoom sessions to chat with Coach Syd Bard on a number of topics including on-ice and off-ice training plans, general nutrition & wellness, college recruitment process, personal hockey journey, etc.
All sessions are tailored to the player’s specific interests and goals.
Price: $25 per session

Receive direct feedback on game footage. This coaching allows the player to contact Coach Syd directly via email with any questions related to in-game play and individual shift breakdown for voiceover/drawn teaching techniques.
*All video review and analysis will be done through Onform app. Simply send selected shifts and we will create a video package with appropriate feedback and guidance.
Price: $30 per game

This option allows players to receive in-game video breakdown followed by a 30-minute 1v1 Zoom call to review feedback and highlighted areas. Get direct answers on the coaching video of shifts provided as well as other related topics.

Growing up playing boy’s hockey in New York, I made the switch to girls hockey at 15 years old when I attended Selects Academy at Bishop Kearney. While there, I began my time with the USA hockey program, playing in the U18 IIHF World Championships for two years, winning the silver medal in Japan. I have continued to progress to the senior National Team level, most recently playing for Team USA at the Rivalry Series in 2025. I attended Colgate University to play Division I for 5 years (2019-2024) where I am the all-time leading point scorer among defenders as well as the third all-time assist leader in program history among all Colgate skaters.
In 2024, I was drafted 22nd overall by the Boston Fleet (PWHL). After season one, I was selected in the first ever PWHL expansion draft by the Vancouver Goldeneyes. In June 2026, I signed a new two-year contract with PWHL Detroit through 2028. PWHL Detroit is one of four teams in the league’s second expansion process.
